I haven't always been proud of my age. Now, though, I'm extremely proud to share that I was born in 1968 (which makes me 56 at the time of writing) & I find that I'm being increasingly invited for projects marketing to the over 50s.
🌞 See this Sunlife UK campaign! 🌞
Getting older is generally perceived by younger people as something that only happens to old people which is ironic because... 💥NEWSFLASH💥 ...it happens to everyone, eventually.
You hope 🤞🤞🤞
So here are some pointers:
➡️ Fun doesn't stop once you're over 50.
➡️ Please tell me I'm doing great without adding 'for your age'. It's patronising.
➡️ Don't tell me I 'only look 45' & think it's a compliment. It's not. See above.
➡️ You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I will never stop learning until I die.
➡️ Having financial things like my pension & will sorted does not make
me boring. You will thank me one day.
➡️ I can't read small print any more. It doesn't mean I'm stupid.
➡️ Over 50s still want to fall in love and have sex. Yep! Check out this ad that I voiced for over 50s dating app Our Time.
